He invited Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America to pull all major banks, lenders and servicers together to conduct on the spot modifications on homeowner’s mortgages. This means that anyone who had a mortgage that they could not afford or was facing foreclosure received on the spot assistance from their banks. There were more than 20 banks and servicers present with over 1,000 counselor available to assist. The results were so favorable that this event lasted for 5-days at the Convention Center assisting thousands of Houstonians.

He is determined to bring Acres Homes back to a desired community of choice even if it means he tackles it one property, one family, one neighborhood at a time. “Being an entrepreneur is not a choice anymore, you have to be a Gogetta these days” says James who has recently released a book on the enriched history on Acres Homes. This book is a must read and so far, it has been used as an aid to uplift our elderly pillars within the community and empower our youth.
